    It might be an idea that 99design puts in a penalty clause to protect both the site and designers from further fraudulous comps. Its a shame this time the barn door is already way open and the cows have run away

    wow! as much as Im glad I did not enter this contest I also feel equally sorry for everyone who did and invested their valuable time.
    Ulahts you must have heard it many times but its the first time I'm hearing the lamest excuse for abandoning a contest. I dont think I have ever seen anybody abandoning a contest by saying "oh I abandon coz there are too many designs" :D:D. This is retarded.
    The question is ..if the CH was so uncertain about designs why did he put a tag of $1000 for the contest? Nobody wants to pay $1000 not knowing what they will buy...Obviously the CH wanted to take advantage of the refund while attracting everyone to the contes.
    "But a word of advice: reading all those negative comments probably won't inspire others to hold these types of contests." I dont think anyboday here wants to attract CH like these. neither 99d nor the designers. Cheers
