    I will be withdrawing this contest. Waiting on support on how to withdraw prior to the end date.

    Thanks to any designers who provided guidance or entries. I may or may not submit a new project in it's place.

    Logojoy, thanks for all your support. I don't think I'm going to keep this contest going. I don't think I understood the effort to accomplish the work. Thanks for your support. I apologize to all for any wasted effort. I may have to consider a different path. I will decide in the next 3 hours on altering the contest or just canceling the contest.

    Actually if you look at the brief you are only required to submit 5 samples, and they're not logos, they're small illustrations. The winner will be for the samples, then when they have a guaruntee of the prize, they can do the rest. But I suppose every designer has their price... If it's not worth it for you, don't enter...

    Any comments CH of whether or not I should continue?...

    go go logojoy.. 60 logos sounds like a marathon... here's something funny. 50 guys enter with 60 logos each, but only one of them wins the prize. 49x60=a lot of hard work for nothing :). cheers guys.

    I don't think that coming up with ideas is a problem, after all, we are designers, it's what we do. It's just there is always a price for such a volume of work/ideas...

    Personally I would be more inclined to enter if you weren't asking us to come up with the ideas for the gifts as well as the gifts themselves, coming up with one good idea for a logo or icon is a daunting enough task. Or if you could give us the 5 to 10 age groups.

    Hi,

    Thanks for getting back to this, it's good to see you appreciate the effort that might be required for this.

    Option 2 sounds about right to me, if it could be $600 for 60, it would be $10 per icon. At this rate I would be prepared to enter, and to supply all the icons.

    When you say 5 samples, d you mean 5 samples in total or 5 from each category?
