for the contest Crescendo

Crescendo logo
Regarding design #19
I like this as well, also would like to see it without reflection.
Submitted design #23
crescendo logo2. Here are two color samples without the reflection. If you would like different color combinations besides the blue just let me know. If you are happy with the colors and logo, i would really like to get started on the website. I want the website to match up with the logo.
Thanks,

Regarding design #23
The lighter lower version is better to me, up in the air about whether I like it better with or without reflection.
Obviously, we might want to see other variations, but I would start on the website, as that would provide more time to iterate through things (in a previous contest, one design was pretty good, but came in on the last day, and so that hurt its chances).

Thanks for the feedback! I will get started on the website and maybe work on a couple of color variations on the logo.

crescendo website1. Here is the first rough draft that I have come up with for your website.

crescendo website2. Here is the first rough draft that I have come up with for your website using the reflection logo. It kind of give the website more of a 2.0 style feel to it.

crescendo logos. Here is a couple more color variations.
Regarding design #26
This isn't bad, but for some reason, the logo looks larger, more dominant. One thing I might be concerned about is that the top of the site (logo, nav and image) takes up quite a lot of space, before one gets to any actual content.

Regarding design #27
I'm still not sure if the reflection makes it better or worse. Same potential concern about the size.
One thing that might make a difference is that because of the type of site this is, I don't think there needs to be a restriction to 800x680 in terms of resolution as you might for an actual product selling e-Com site.
T - what is your take on that?
j
Regarding design #28
I think I prefer the original colors myself. For some reason it looks cleaner to me.
j
Regarding design #26
Yes, agree with j on the size/dominance of the logo. In fact, it is so large that I wouldn't mind seeing this type of concept without an image in it.
T
Regarding design #27
Agree on the thought about not needing to restrict to 8x6. I also don't think the reflection is a good addition (prefer the ones I have seen without it). See feedback above about use of the image as well - with logo this big, I'm not sure the concept needs another image.

crescendo website3.
Regarding design #48
This is better. I think on the left there should be a consistent header style (either the underlined 'services' style or the header-tab style...think the former is better).
And maybe have a section for all the tab items (though the contact 'link' up top right might be enough for that piece).

Regarding design #48
Small point, but the title box for the Welcome bit doesn't span the full width of that section (it's short on the left). Also, contrary to what j said, I actually prefer all the title sections be the same and have us go with the separate title box (as opposed to the underlined title used for Services.

crescendo website. With the changes to the title boxes, I think it looks much better and cleaner.
Regarding design #52
It does look better I think. Can you do one more small change for me? Can you move the content sections up, so they are a little closer to their respective title boxes? Not sure what else I would change to make this concept better. j - any other thoughts?

I'm still not sure the image does anything, but if you take it away, it could be a bit plain. Maybe more graphical elements around the sections.

New Crescendo Website. Here is a new style that I came up with.
Regarding design #58
This one is OK for me. The more I see it, the more I'm not really a huge fan of the nav bar. Everything else is decent. Seeing it without and image, I guess I wouldn't mind _something_ there to break up the constant text...

As of now it is not coded, but coding it will not be a problem.
