    Additional notes:

    1. We prefer background images on the right side - example #53 - so that if they happen to get cut out from certain screen resolutions, it won't look too awkward.

    2. #53 has done the best job with colors so far.

    3. Really like the peel effect seen on #59

    4. #64 does a good job with including the tag words.

    5. Have pretty much ruled out the use of the character drawings mentioned earlier.

    6. Would like contact info to be included in any future designs.

So far we haven't been impressed with random graphics. Not to say someone couldn't come along and make it look amazing, but so far nothing yet.

It would be safer to stick with the photo idea. Having photos run down the ride side (cologne, man, screenshot of website, etc.)

    A few notes...

    1. No random graphics please - keep them related to the topics that we will be writing about. You might consider tech toys, cars, women, designer clothes, cologne, sports related items, maybe some healthy food, etc. Take a look at the website to see what I'm talking about. There are a lot of different ideas that we are open to, but when someone comes to our twitter page, it should give them an idea of what we are about.

    2. Try not to get too out of hand with the "rugged" look. Looking for clean, and eye catching.

    3. When adding a contact list, design them into the page, rather than placing them randomly in the design. Keep the list noticeable, but not overwhelming. We want the info to be there for the people who care to know, but I don't want it to become the design.

    4. Read the twitter guidelines. In fact, it would probably be best to upload the design to a live twitter profile. I know this isn't possible at the moment, since twitter is having issues.

    5. We do like the idea of placing the images of the cologne, and man into the design (although definitely not required). However, it would be best to use these as "photos" on the side, rather than having them become the background. This way we could easily replace them with different photos in the future.

    6. We do like the idea of tag words placed into the design. #20 did a pretty good job of it. TheBachelorGuy dot com also uses this idea in his header. Again, not a requirement, but it seems some designers are having trouble coming up with elements to fill the design with.

    7. Here's a custom character drawing that was designed for a previous website: http://perfectcarat.com/wp-content/…acters.jpg Wasn't planning on doing anything with it, but it might be another option for you. If you plan on using it, use it as a photo. Don't use it as the basis of your design. Not sure if it would even fit in with this brand, but I'm trying to throw some ideas out there.

    8. Feel free to look at profiles that @therugged is following on twitter. You might be able to get a few ideas of what others in our niche are doing. We aren't too impressed with the status quo, which is why we're here :-) . But either way, the different profiles might give you some inspiration.

do you want the images included? The cologne bottle and model specifically. Are those licensed to you already?
