Here are some variations on my previous entry.
This is a little bit simpler symbol, which I think is a little better.
I also reposioned some things. made the text slightly smaller, spacing....the second one is another symbol. also... I think that logo would work well as one color which is nice for printing and reproduction.
and as for color we can definetly go with a different color if you don't like light blue.

since you weren't real specific in what font you wanted (or maybe you just wanted options) i did a couple different ones for you.

again, i left this purple, but it can be any of the color combinations.

Regarding design #3
the colour definitely gives it a different feel. I like them all.. the first looks kindof like a modified magnet... which is a cool idea... i like the last one a lot too. I like the font with the design on the first two, but might be interested to see a different font with the last one?
