Hi. Thanks for your entry. It is beautiful! I'm not sure if it will work though because the trees we work with are trees with needles, not leaves. Was this created in Photoshop or Illustrator? We need the logo to be in vector format.

Its done in Photoshop CS3, and its 100% vector..

Hi. Thanks for your reply. I was under the impression that you can only create raster images in Photoshop. You need to use Illustrator (or Fireworks or Freehand) to create vector images. If the file format is .psd, then it's raster. If you can point me to some info that explains otherwise I would be very interested to learn more about this. Thanks.

Well, the vector element in Photoshop is kind of new, thats why alot of people dont know about it. If you stay away from rasterizing layers its all vector with anchor points.

Wicked! It's so much easier to design things like logos in Photoshop rather than Illustrator. I guess it makes sense since Photoshop provides vector drawing tools like the pen tool. Thanks.

Exactly, it can be a bit tricky to understand whats vector and whats not in Photoshop, but for those who know, its no problem at all, its wonderful!

Hehe, heres some proof its vector..

Heh. I believed you, but thanks for the proof. This is seriously good news.

I really love your logo. If you can create something similar but using a spruce, pine, or fir tree (or trees, or seedlings), it may become our top choice in the contest.
