hmm, well if it makes any difference, I didn't use the aol runner as reference :) A stick figure is a fairly basic design, so it would be difficult for it not to look like any other stick figure, ya know?

more options, please! not yet what we are looking for, the font is not that unique yet. the whole logo should be more simple but still not generic, like e.g. the wazap.com or skype.com logo.
maybe try to work with only two main colors, as the third background color ruins the homogeneity.
please also make the small runner totally distinguishable from the aol runner, so that we don't "run" into any legal issues. ;) (maybe use the hed as a microphone?)

new concept. Went with just 2 colors ( can be changed of course) changed the font to a more distinguished look, and also changed the stick figure by adding another arm so he could be seen as either running and singing or dancing and singing :) Let me know what you think!

feedback for the 3 entries from top to bottom:
1. i like that design. maybe find a way to incorporate the small runner in a better way, by e.g. realignment of the whole logo?
2. also nice! not shure about the grey border of the star, though. also please try to use a bigger star and include all elements inside it (maybe 2lines for Talent andRun), for imagination and comparison
3. nice alternative! same as for #1 and #2 for comparison of your great ideas: please try to realign the elements of the logo (e.g. maybe 2 lines for Talent and Run) to narrow the whole logo.

made the changes you suggested. I was happy with the top one but when I started to play around with the layout some more the bottom one just really came together nicely. I personally really like the second one, the colors really pop and it looks very unified :) let me know what you think or if there are changes you would like to see!

went with the further suggestions you made two entries ago. Brought up the shine on the words, went with a new layout as well. Its tough to incorporate the runner into the logo without putting him in the star haha :) Let me know what you think. Once we get down a solid layout thats perfect we can go crazy on all sorts of color combos ;)

not keen on the shine effect: try to make it a circle from bottom left to bottom right instead of a straight line.
