Regarding design #46
I like this a lot. There are a few particulars I would change, but over all its really strong. One "must have" is that I need to have "video thumbnails" right there on the home page. I would change out the middle part, removing the "Questions" section and replacing it with two video thumbnails (like YouTube). That might mean making the "Newsletter" part smaller. Also, in the top part on the right ... the "Watch Build Grow" part ... that resembles our current design on LearnVisualStudio.NET, however we have found that it doesn't do much for us. Instead, we'll want to put a testimonial, our phone number and "live chat" icon, etc. So, instead of the multi-colored panel, I would like just one colored panel that fills that whole section and I could change it out over time (one month, green, next month orange, etc.)
I do prefer rounded corners, but I don't think that's a show stopper. Also, I'm not completely sold on that shade of blue, but that's a small issue. Overall, VERY strong entry. Thanks!

Very clean. This is really nice. I feel this matches the level of professionalism that we're looking to achieve. Very nice job. Nice photo and graphics on the site ... if we were to pick this design, we would want to know the vendor that creates some of the graphical icon elements (assuming you've not built them from scratch).

Narrowing in on this design, there are a couple of things we would need in a revision of this design. 1) The middle area ... the free videos need their title above or below them, the thumbnails need to be larger, which will push the width and the height of that area out. We're fine with making the Newsletter smaller. 2) We will be selling individual products ... so it will be different from our current "all you can eat" business model on LearnVisualStudio.NET. So, in light of that, could we see 3 columns at the bottom of the page. Each column would have a "product name" like "JavaScript 101" and "C++ 101" with a short blurb of lorem ipsum under them and a listing of 4 or 5 video titles under that? Also, would want to use a lighter pallette in that bottom area. I fear that the blues in there are a little heavy. Just being picky, now. 3) A "secondary page" ... like FAQ or "Product" page so we can get an idea of the typography on at least one other page.
