  8. burrows, just to let you know about the raster file question.. If you want to use the graphic on a t-shirt you'll need a vector image. Otherwise it will come out blurry and low-quality (highly, highly likely). Vector images are images that can be resized to any size without any quality loss, while raster images are image files that can only be *decreased* in size with little or no (typically some) quality loss. You can make vector files with Photoshop (.EPS) but there must be no rasterized layers in the document. A .PSD file can also be a "vector" Photoshop file, which can be opened with Photoshop and exported to a .EPS file. But, again, there must be no rasterized layers in order to achieve a true vector graphic.
