Regarding design #5
Like the idea of the background image - font needs to be more serif, and possibly do something different with the area where to the coffee is. Looking to go another direction - focus more on the blog title and text, and less on the images of coffee, crosses and music. Subtle background images or less transparent would be better. Perhaps more of a pattern for the background.
