for the contest New Logo for mywedding.com
Submitted design #83
This is my first entry, I customized a font, as I couldn't find a suitable one.
Submitted design #84
I gave it a really long thought and I think what it needs is an element/graphic, something that makes it personal, this being MY wedding, not somebody elses. But like you said, we are talking web here, therefore script fonts are out, so I created a shape to the final "g" to make it look like its the final touch of a signature.

Hi Ella, your entries are the best to date - great work. I will have more comments shortly - but awesome start! Thanks for taking the time to read the design brief carefully!
Submitted design #108
I tried some more tweaks on the web/community theme. Thank you for the feedback and the kind words. :) Reading the brief is a must imho, otherwise I'd be irresponsibly wasting both your time and mine.

Regarding design #87
Hi Ella, #5 and #7 are our favorites. We love the concept on the "G" on #5 but wanted to see if you could soften it up a bit. Not sure if it's the top right edge of the "G" - but if you cold play with that, that would be great.
Regarding design #90
Hi Ella, #5 and #7 are our favorites. This "G" is also beautiful, and the com without the dot is brilliant. We like the ideas on the "E", but wanted to see if you could make it look less "half moon" like. And again, maybe try and soften the top edge of the "G" a tad. But i think by stikcing to #5 and #7 we are getting close. Do you have a portfolio of your work? I would be very interested in seeing it!
Regarding design #108
We like the treatment of the "E" on #7 better

Not sure about the "G" - it's looking a bit wiggley. I wish i could be more constructive.

more tweaks on the "g".
Submitted design #215
oops, fixed. :)
Regarding design #214
better i think, also how would you position a city name with this logo - beside it underneath? all caps, it would be great to see.
Regarding design #215
nice variations
Regarding design #215
Ella, can you try one variation with this font, but that does a play on just the letter Y - just curious to see what you come up with.
Submitted design #355
I tried a diferent "e" and changed the final "g" to match it.
