It looks to me too as some of the logos here are PS-based, bitmaps. Maybe I'm wrong, who knows.

Did you need vector logo? because 50% of all logos are raster.

Thanks for the submissions! A few notes and suggestions:
-I'd like to stay away from the gears though and stick to workshop tools.
-The logo should preferably be on one line
-I don't want anything looking too techy at all - looking for something modern: subtle gradients, bright colors, and a unique font.
