Hey, Are, how are you? Been good, I hope!
I decided to enter this contest since I know you are a good contest holder and can trust that you will indeed pick a winner at the end. Anyway, here's my ides for your website. I stuck to 3 colors, blue, gray, and white. Tried to make it very simple and straight-forward like the sites you listed as examples. The only part I really put a bit of graphical focus on is the navigation, so as to draw attention to the buttons.
It should pretty much speak for itself. I know I entered this last-minute, but if you give me some things to change, I can try to do it before the contest ends. Also, I didn't have time to get to the inside page because I have to go to work as soon as I post this, but I will be able to create one if I win of course. Because I did not have time to make an inside page, I tried to show on this page how the left navigation would break down on the page that is being displayed. I hope that makes sense! =)

Just good here :)
I feel it is to mutch gray. The navigation and the rest of it seems nice. A bit difficult to read the gray on white bg. I'll be back with more.

I could try making the gray darker, I suppose, but it seems pretty easy to read on the background, especially because the background is white. I will try incorporating a third color to replace some of the gray and hopefully offset the gray at the same time. Will be back with an update.

Are, Glad to hear all is well!
Here's a quick edit of the first concept. I changed the text color to a darker gray, near-black color. I also added red to the layout a bit, and will experiment more throughout the day when I have time. I'm at work right now, so I'll try to work on it a bit more during lunch! Thanks.

In general: To mutch boxes and a bit messy: Don't know what is headers and content. The background header used around can be nice when there are totally one or two at a page, but with so many, it doesn't look so good.
Use shadows in the boxes instead of framing it so mutch in. A thin border around each product is OK.
I miss a footer or somthing to say the end of the page across the hole page.
I like the header, top menu, and the menu (inside the menu box). But the rigth menu, with centered content does not look so good.

Like I said, had I seen this contest earlier, I could have submitted and had time to make changes, but unfortunately I didn't have a chance to. If you do see any promise in this design for your needs, please know that I would make all changes necessary to make sure you're happy with the final design.
