Hi... After reading the brief and review of the websites you mentioned I created this layout.
It is versatile, it uses only two colors and over all I believe it suits very well the website you are looking for.

Regarding design #4
This is the closest one to what I want. The menu in the left column is basically perfect (3d effect and plain when clicked, nice).
I do get a feeling of to mutch dark in a way. The sub-headings )like on in the rigthmost column looks unfished when they close the border on top of them. Maybe a less dominant subheader (more plain).
Login should be in the rigth column too. I like the shadow effect in the green background there, but just the login boxes should be in the rigthmost column.

Here is another entry this time with the changes you requested + a much lighter color... however personally I like the previous colors better.. I believe the site looks much more "clean".

I do like this better.
There are some things I don't like so mutch:
- Borders. They are to thick I think. I like best 1px borders (or similar to that). I also think the background in the caption of each product is to large. It has to be a link also, for more product info.
- Login buttons and search button in rigth colum should be square.
- Footer should go below the lowest point (colspan over the three columns).
- I'm a bit unsure if the header show go longer than the rest of the page.

In terms of the page layout, please let me know whether you want it centered or fluid. The samples you have showed me were fluid in width.

Regarding design #6
I'm unsure about the font's used. The large headline fonts everywhere looks to big/stretched (the ones with the green background).
The design does look a bit to "bulky" (not sure how to explain it), so I'm unsure how good I like it.
Fixed width is best (max 768px), align to left.

Ok I will change the size of the fonts.... Other then that I'm not quite sure I understand what you mean by bulky...... Could you please give me some more details on that? Maybe if you could tell me what you like and what yu don't like more in depth it would help...

This is a revised entry .. I have changed the font type and size.. and I also added some banners and icons in order to better identify the sections of the site.

The font is correct now.
I'm just not sure at this time about the design. It Has a lot of graphics (in terms of both colors and graphic elements), and I would want as little as possible unless it is there for a purpose. I would not want the pink color at least, that is the only thing I'm sure about.
The headings on the rigth should be not so tall (the green background).
Would rather like something like Mikroplex example I gave than Komplett example.
In general and to some extent in this design:
I just feel (soem of this this can be due to color in this design) that the design is to advanced in a way: If you go into Mikroplex, they have very little graphics, but it stands out anyway. I want it simple and as white as possible. Not large boxes/buttons/menues and headers.
I can't say exactly what I don't want or want changed, but it just don't give me the "I want it" feeling like on Mikroplex site.

Well.... I think it is very clean like the examples you showed me... it has good contrast between the color, the header size can be changed once you decide on a design.
In addition I think that my proposal is better then the microplex sample you sent me..
I did not want to follow the Microplex site as I think it has a very outdated design and honestly the information seems a bit crowded...
However I appreciate your effort and I wish you good luck in finding a design that suits your taste...
