We are specifically looking for a logo with the actual island of Long Island. Deniseyvonne#3 seems to be on the right track. you can try it with or without a lighthouse. We have decided that get rid of the "do you believe" because there are too many letters. As for the font, try garamond or similar. Try all diffrent colors.

have this on stationary, mugs, shirts and anything else and still have it refect

A gold type trim to the orginal design after looking at your website, It seems
a black logo needs some sort of border to lift it out to be visable. I hope
