Hello deniseyvonne, I think this one might be too tropical. I've added a few links to the detail description of our contest that shows other companies/groups that use Long Island in their logo. Take a peek. See what ya come up with.

Your on the right track. We are specifically looking for a logo with the actual island of Long Island. You can try it with or without a lighthouse. We have decided that get rid of the "do you believe" because there are too many letters. As for the font, try garamond or similar. Try all diffrent colors.
