Regarding design #2
We are specifically looking for a logo with the actual island of Long Island. Deniseyvonne#3 seems to be on the right track. you can try it with or without a lighthouse. We have decided that get rid of the "do you believe" because there are too many letters. As for the font, try garamond or similar. Try all diffrent colors.

Also, my design is all vector. Which means if you ever want to print it on anything in any size it will not be a problem.

Hello tjm,
This one is pretty good. I've just updated the "details" part of the page to include a few links to other groups/companies that use a silhouette of Long Island in their logo. Perhaps you could add a semi-transparent Long Island silhouette to the background? We'd also like to get the acronym in there too somehow "LISPR".
