They are really liking what you have done here ... and I can tell you that you are near or at the top right now.
After the contest is over, we are going to print the top 3 out and let the club members judge for themselves.

Hi. :) Here's the logo with the revised blade (the model was an MK professional figure skate blade). Please let me know if they want the picks to be even larger (can/will do very easily), or if they'd like to see even more of a revision.

Regarding design #10
They really liked this design.
1) They would like to see the same design using a figure skating blade instead on the one you used. Figure skating blades have toe picks on the front.... they told me that they would like a professional blade used in the design which I guess has larger picks. I'm guessing that you will find some examples by searching on google.
2) They liked the design with 'Skating Club' in it.
This design is presently in the top 5!

The more I worked on this the more it grew on me. I love designing sports logos. :)
If chosen, I'll work with you to fine-tune this to your needs. I realize it may not be as feminine as the other logos, but it can be modified/fixed towards that, depending on what you'd like to reflect. I believe this design would read beautifully on clothing (t shirts, sweats, jackets) as well as on stationary/promotional materials.
