    We'd also like to award a consolation prize of $50 to each of the four finalists, Arun Agrawal, blake, jash and Bernadette. We realised that it might be useful to have a few fallback options to rotate on our Twitter background when we're in need of a refresh. So these designers may also see their design appear on the SitePoint Twitter page at some stage down the track, assuming they are happy to handover their designs for this purpose.

    Thanks to *everyone* who entered this contest. The range and depth of talent was amazing.

    Any of the remaining five designers not eliminated are in with a chance. I think you'll agree that the quality of the designs that I was forced to reject is an indication of how high the standard has been, and makes it very tough for me to choose a winner.

    As I mentioned, this will happen on Monday some time, after I've had a chance to confer with my team.

    Wish the five finalists good luck!
