Thanks for the entry... first things first, you left out the "b"! you are right, it is clear and stands out. Only real comment is that it doesn't make me think industrial or vibration instrumentation exactly. I do like the font you used as it is simple and easy to read.

This is closer to the feel I'm looking for out of what you've provided so far. If you can come up with any new angles that would be great. Just remember this is to be an industrial logo that makes you think vibration instrumentation when you see it!
