Brief Summary

Training Camp, a London-based company which offers Accelerated Learning courses to IT Professionals, were horrified by the time and money that was spent on the London 2012 Olympic logo.

So we thought the amazing designers who work on this site could come up with something far better and in less time. Once we've chosen the winner we will present it to the Olympic Committee in person.

OK, but are you really going to take this 'winning' design to the 2012 Olympic Committee? What do you think their reaction will be to you presenting them with a Union Jack flag, when they clearly didn't want a traditional British symbol? The official logo is crude, but at least it is different, where as the flag can be found in logos for Ben Sherman or Reebok. Do let us know how they react when you take it to them. ; )

    All,

Many thanks to all who entered this contest.

I for one was amazed at the quality of work and loved to see the enthusiasm with which everyone contributed to the competition,
    both in words and pictures.

I especially would like to praise Rambler001's entry, which was original, impactful, sensitive to the British nation and had a sense of warmth and inclusiveness which we felt was in keeping with the spirit of the games.

With so many entries and comments it can be difficult to reply in writing to every contributor. Please accept my apologies and assurances that all entries and comments were both read and appreciated.

    All the best,

    The Training Camp

    Congratulations to the winner.

Will there be detail or statement giving the criteria for the win?

@bonojerry - you need to calm down, i have been watching your "rant" comments along all contests i could
till now and this is a final warning. This kind of sarcastic comments aren't in the SitePoint books.
Please, if you have miss-read any of the SitePoint's Guides i really ADVICE you to re-read them.

    Well, welll, weeeell.
First of all, i really want to congratulate Rambler in public (:joke: he's a rambler afterall :D ), it's
a nice logo and to the point. My thoughts from the begining - Bart sustain me here - were that
this will be the winning entry.

First of all, has the "whismical" that none of the entries so far didn't have.Has the nationalism
and has "THE MESSAGE". The image is bold and it's straight to the point.
And the Olympic Rings can be used in a logo that relates to Olympic Games or Olympic Forums only.

Congratulations once again an please keep us updated with the payment and contacts between you and the CH.
