Heres my attempt. I tried to keep it simple bearing in mind what it will be used for. Let me know what you think :)

This may be a little too simple. I see what you were trying for. There is definitely a fine line and it's not easy to nail it. Maybe add a little more design to it. I am also concerned about the dimensions, it needs to fit on a 3 1/2 x 12 product header.
