    First I want to thank everyone again for an excellent contest. There were many wonderful entries and working with you all has been both a pleasure and a learning experience. I sincerely hope that you all choose to display your design submissions in your portfolios with pride. (And although you may not need it, you have my official permission to use them in your own promotional materials.)

    Over the past day we've received feedback on the finalist designs from a wide variety of people and although each design has been mentioned by at least one of our participants, it's become clear that one design in particular has captured people's imagination. So to Sath, I congratulate you for your hard work.

    I look forward to working with you all in the future.

    Thanks to everyone who submitted for a great contest! :) We're currently reviewing the 14 finalist designs and receiving feedback from interested parties and will assign a winner within the next few days.

    Design #49 is an excellent interpretation of the phoenix. I'd like to see some simpler / less detailed interpretations of the hands.

    would like to see one or two more attempts at a phoenix design - concept sketch 2 - right now Diana is the only one who's submitting on that theme - #31 is a good example
