- Brief Summary

We are an image processing company and we are in dire need of a logo facelift. Our current design is 14 years old and it looks the part! Anything you can do to modernize our image would be much appreciated!
our current logo features a chameleon motif with soft edges and the text "Chameleon Images Incorporated" in a disgusting serif font. it can been seen on our outdated web page here:

STEVE: Awesome font selection, and I like where you're going with pushing the chameleon motif to its minimal limits. However, aside from the tail, I don't think it reads as chameleon. The head is too triangular ( although chameleons do have triangular heads ) and it ends up looking like a sort of dragon / monster. Try re-shaping the head, or changing the eye location, or adding another element of facial detail, or perhaps even adding a tongue? needs something to push it beyond its current aesthetic. overall- awesome

While your complex chameleon rendering is nice as a stand-alone clip art image- I feel it is much too complex for a logo. Minimal design looks smart. Also, you're using a serif font, which I want to avoid entirely, Since it is a dated look for an imaging company.

Thanks for the color changes- I have no interest in a specific color I just wanted to see what the head looked like in a flat doutone. We can change the colors ourselves later with the vector file. Good job on sharpening up the head motif- you hit on exactly what I was looking for!

The variations give you a rough idea of the non gradient head. If you have any specific colours that you would like to see just say and i will do that for you asap. Thanks for the great feedback by the way.
