Brief Summary

I have run a4.no for many years with same design, and I want to upgrade it. It is not mandatory to replace the logo, I would rather keep it, but you migth improve it. It says A4 Startsiden (means something like A4 StartPage or A4 Portal). It only contains quality checked links (or are supposed to at least) to Norwegian websites. 3 htmlpages needed, but just submit one screenshot for now, you can design and code the rest of the pages later if you win.

    Hi, a small doubt.. Hjem means home right? what does Forsiden stand for? Both seem to point out to the same link.

    Hjem = Home yes. Forsiden stands for Frontpage. So it is the same thing :)

    Some questions..
    Can we remove anyone of them ( home & frontpage) for ease of navigation? if so then which one?
    Also what is the significance of Hovedmeny? what does it mean?
    Should we display all the 60+ popular categories? (it will add to extra vertical scrolling)?
    Noen utvalgte means newly added right?
    Siste! seems to be something like links?

    You can remove any one you like.

    Hovedmeny means main menu. But you can provide links to most visited, most popular, new sites, A4 Mail, Index and about someplace else, it must not be where it is. But I like to have menu on the left.

    It isn't so important to avoid scrolling. I was even thinking of adding more of them, similar to http://www.startsiden.no.

    "Noen utvalgte means newly added right?" No, it means Selected or premium links.
    Siste! seems to be something like links? This means Latest (Latest links)

    I would like to change the colors of the logo. Do you have the psd of the logo? Or atleast the name of the font used?

    Don't have logo any more :(

    What strikes me, is that the layout and design of the current doesn't look professional enough. This is the first priority. Then, a lot of white space and use of contrast on large areas is also reccomended. I like boxes and I like corner boxes (as long it is used just a little).
