Brief Summary

We are re-naming our existing company and need a new logo made for the company. We can pretty much provide the color schema, but we do need your creativity. We'll give mostly direction and the vision, mission of the company.

    Well, that just doesn't cut it. You apparently gave them some idea for what you wanted from the designs in this contest because it looks WAY TOO MUCH like the one danieljoakim submitted. That is totally uncalled for. An explanation for this at an earlier date *may* have eased the anxiety more but I doubt it because the design is so close to one already submitted.
    Two weeks is too much time to leave the 20 or so designers that did the work here, especially the one we think you stole the idea from.

    If I were in charge, you'd owe danieljoakim at least some of the offered prize.

    We are sorry if anyone had hurt feelings over our decision to go with another designer on our logo package. We went back and forth with many of the designers here who submitted great designs - but we just didn't get exactly what we wanted, and decided to hire a few other firms to submit designs.

    We were pretty specific about things that we did want to see in the logo - so it wasn't a surprise to us that many of the designs that we saw here and the designs that we saw from the other two firms that we hired were very similar.

    In the end, we chose the design that we felt best fit our needs and the image we wanted to portray.

    Again, we're sorry if that has caused hurt feelings. We've had great success using designers here in the past and want to continue to support this site and this type of working relationship.
