dingbats are not acceptable. either is clipart. its easy to identify both.

A few more notes:

1) The rose will be embroidered at about 1.5" high and in a single color. So, there cant be much detail or thin stems, branches, lines or leaves. It has to be readable at 1.5". The embroidery will be high quality with lots of threading so it will work well if the rose is designed properly.

2) We like the font Birch Std (regular). This is what was provided in our sketch. We dont want to stray too far away from what Birch Std looks like so please take that into consideration (or stick with Birch Std if you have it).

3) A combination of #13 and #14 would probably produce the best result - although very small variations on that combination would be encouraged.

We like #13 and #50 the most. The size of the rose bud (and how open/bloomed it is) is the size we're looking for in #13. We'd like to see some variations on that so that rose bud in #13. Also, the stem for #13 is the perfect shape although we'd like to see a few variations on the leaves (fewer leaves, maybe a thorn, or maybe smaller leaves). #50 is cool in its concept but the way it is shown it is WAY too psychedelic. It looks like a 70's graphic or something. We'd like to see the 1297 incorporated into the rose bud but more closed and much more classy. Keep in mind, this needs to be embroidered on clothing so if you get TOO detailed with the illustration, we cant use it. The amount of detail in #13 is perfect.
