Image - Can I see some ideas surround home and connection?

Colors - I see a lot in green or green and orange...I would like to see the 3 and 4 stars in different colors.

Font - I do like the font used by A+ and neuromancer...but they also seem to go well with the image.

Text - Keep "Home Business" the same font, color and stand out. "Connection" should be different and subordinant to "Home Business".

We have gone through many ideas, designs and versions of our home business site, www.homebusinessconnection.com.  We have been in the home business industry for 17 years and are ready to join the rest of the world with a website that is satisfactory with today's designs and user interaction tools.  The site is designed to offer information, articles and actual business opportunities.  Our corporate site is www.cuttingedgemedia.com.  We feel a strong logo and colors is a great place to start.  If the designs prove satisfactory, we may follow up with a website design contest.
Wants
  • Honestly, anything other than what we have now
  • We want to look professional, but don't need something too serious
  • Should represent something to do with home, business and/or connection
  • This logo will also be used on other portal sites linking to this site, so it needs to look good big or small
Don't Wants
  • What we have now : )
  • Do not include any graphics that are cliche for home business like stacks of money, money bag, dollar signs, etc.
