    Two additional tips to the project holder that will help us:

    -Preferences or requirements as to what graphics program the covers are created in (Quark, InDesign, Photoshop, etc.)
    -Deliverables and what format you would like (hi-res PDF/collected for output Quark or InDesign files, etc.)

    May I suggest the following as a helpful guideline for designers:

    -Full Book title
    -Subtitle (if any)
    -Author name as it should appear
    -Any other verbiage that might need to appear on the cover (DVD included, etc.)
    -Trim size (if requesting a complete jacket, spine width as well)-
    -Stock art/illustration: Will you allow additional budgeting for this? If so, to what amount?
    -Detailed brief/synopsis of the books contents
    -Any likes or dislikes (i.e., prefer a san-serf font or dislike the color green)
    -Links or information on where we can download any relevant logos, author images, etc.
