    FYI Thanks for all the help provided on the favicon. I will understand better how to designate my request in the next contest.

    Also, Thanks to all for the tremendous response and outstanding designs. There were so many great choices and my decision was not an easy one. I am thrilled with this site and intend to launch another contest very soon.

    My sincere thanks to those of you that offered advice and suggestions and helped me through the process.

    @ZZZzzz, working for favico is very tricky. Even if a design looks good in a 64x64px or higher, it can be just a mess when viewed in 16x16. Thats why I asked CH if it is still a requirement since I see most entries without real 16x16 icons. I think it would be better for CH to ask for "favicon" versions (logos modified to "simpler" favicon-compatible format - pixelart included) as an alternative when the image is too complex. As mogeek said, you can't expect any logo to work in 16x16.

    I see few of you struggle with favicons so i decide to help

    IcoFormati is open source free addon for Photoshop and Illustrator
    it add you option to export final favicon in .ico format. I suggest you work on 64x64px canvas size when working on favicon.When done shrink to 16x16px using bicubic sharpner and then save as and chose .ico format....
    I have found this on net years ago and wanted to share with u all
