    In the 66 contest i had entered this is the first -ve comment i am receiving. The link sending through the PM is not a new happening here at 99designs. When surfing thru CONTESTS i came to know that there are designers whom are uploading a tiny image and sending their entree's url to CH thru PM. In my previous flash contests I faced problems with my concepts, animations stolen by someone and getting nice ratings. First I'll start on the concept once i developed animations to some extent then someone will come, see flash file i posted, reading the feed backs given by CH then will design according to that and will get good ratings. This is what happening in most of the contests here.
    @ Blacklab & Digital Design - Please have a look at the following 99 design feedback forum topics before saying "everything is public and transparent : honest work and healthy competition".

    Since SWFs are easily extractable and editable i want to save my file from copycats. Also in the beginning itself i stated to the contest holder that because of this problem i am sending thru PM. I sent only the urls and discussions were done on the submission page only.
    I was the first to post a Flash animated file in this contest thats y i hided the link from others. If anyone posted flash file links earlier surely i might posted the link the submission page only. I did for my file security and nothing purposely.

    @ Blacklab and Digital Design

    We extended the competition to allow all designers time to finish the brief.

    Early in the competition we tried to encourage people to post their designs on the board rather than through the PM to make this fair for everyone.

    We are very keen to have a healthy competition and a fair competition and I apologise if it looks like this was not the case in this instance.

    The design by THY was ONE of the favorite designs however we was keen to see all the completed designs before we chose our winner.

    I would like to thank you both for your designs and hard work during the competition we are new to this site and we will bare your comments in mind for future competitions.

    Well it aint me.

    I agree with digital design - I can complete, but not had any positive feedback on recent upload and also not sure of "the competition" due to "hidden links". I thought the site was open to honest work and healthy competition, therefore I cannot waste anymore time and detailed effort into the competition. This is unfair to not only my submission, but other designers who put the effort in. Well done THY

    which people u extended to allow thyinter...to finish
    u should tell people that u allready choose your favorite design

    by the way thy... u r scared to post your URL becouse someone will recognize that u steal someone else ideas or design

    contest here are not made to hide designs everything is public and transparent

    @CH, I think it is better to add in the brief that you allow sending links and private conversation through PM. So that it is fair for all the designers.
