Logo required for company called Corporate Connect. The company offers unusual teambuilding days / events primarily to large corporate companies.
So far the events lined up are a sinking ship simulator, a flight simulator and a special effects pyrotechnic day. So hopefully this will give you an idea of the type of events being offered.

The logo will be used primarily on the website as well as other uses such as stationary. The site design will be fairly corporate looking and professional to appeal to the men in suits.

I guess his idea was something to do with how jigsaw pieces fit together like members of a team.
It may be possible for you to take his design and improve it but probably better to just come up with your own completely new idea.Update - I am going with a dark background for the site design so would be good to see any designs on white as well as on a dark background like this
