for the contest New logo to appear on the big screen!
Submitted design #116
Hello. After reading your definition of Yarnmaker, the first image I got was a rocking chair. I chose it because it reminds me of a mother nurturing her baby to a wise elderly person sitting on there. In between both generations, there is lots of growth and ultimately, lots of stories to tell. I thought that the rocking chair conveys a feeling of comfort, but at the same time a creepy sense about it. I added a background to it to not only stand out, but to project a feeling as though a door has just been opened.
I will gladly make any changes. I hope you like the concept. Thank you for your consideration.

I made a slight tweak to my previous entry that I just withdrew. Thanks, again.
#117 Nice work! I like it, and the thought process behind it too. Potentially the only weak part is the font itself, but I'm not even sure that is such a problem! Great stuff.
I greatly appreciate the feedback. I will definately work on finding a more suitable font. Thank you :)

Hello. I had to customize the font a bit because the fonts I found just did not look right with the image. In which case, I did a slight shift to add a little interest and drama (I hope not too much) and customized the "A" to set it apart from regular Serif fonts. I also added a little color on this version, similar to light from a fireplace to add a little ambiance. I hope you like this version. I welcome any feedback and would gladly make any changes. Thank you.
#154 Very nice. This is an improvement on an already great design. Definately a serious contender.
Thank you.

I wanted to give you a basic black and white version of the logo before you make your final decision. I made some very miniscule tweaks and left out the shadow behind the chair so that it's in its "raw" form without all the bells and whistles.
Thanking you with my fingers crossed,
Sheila :)

Whoops. I made another slight change from the previous version that I just withdrew.
#256 Nice, but I've decided that the plain text of #117, combined with the colours and shadow of #154 might be the better option, purely because the shattered text evokes a "horror" feel for me, and this might be quite opposite to some films we produce. Are you able to do a submission like that before contest close?
I'd be looking for:
1. Colour image (as per 154) with 117's text
2. Plain B&W version with 117's text, no gradients, only flat B&W and grey for shadow.
Maybe a little work on the shadow could go well too. Of course, these things can be very difficult!

Per your feedback. Thank you.
Submitted design #268
This one has a slightly different font variation. Thanks, again.
#267 Great, thanks. I've eliminated previous versions
#268 I'll decided which of the fonts I prefer at some point. ;-)
#268 eliminated purely to help with judging
