Hello
Here's my entry. It's still a little rough, but the concept's definitely there. I think the cutout of the pub gives the layout a lot of depth. The bottom half could definitely use some work. I think something could go in place of the 'Warm Welcome' section to break it up a bit, but I'm not sure what... I'll have a think about it, but let me know if you have any ideas.

New mockup, with some ideas for sidebar content. I think it's important to have something different here - it makes the lower section less rigid - but what we put here is entirely up to you...

Brill - really clean and nice design. Take a look at number #18 and see what you think - very different to yours but could you apply some of the nice touches but with the cleaner design style too?

Hello, thanks for the prompt feedback. I've made a few changes to give the layout more warmth and texture - tightened things up here and there, added a slight texture to the navigation, and a subtle background pattern.
However, I'm reluctant to move it too much in the direction of malinic's design - not least because it'd be unfair to malinic!
