Regarding design #1
Find the "g" and "n" concept a little too dominant but liked the thought process that brought you there. Coming from the refresh/reload and constantly being updated theme

Design concept - tried to stick to the colours of the team, added in a bit of grey though i think it looks good.
I fused the letters "g" and "n" together, along with two arrows, the idea being that gooner news is constantly being updated with new information about the team. the arrows coming from refresh/reload.
