Like it. Could you make the outline of the Emirates stadium a bit more visible though. Also maybe try a slightly wider font although i do like the font you are using now.

Regarding design #5
This our favourite concept so far. Font gone too wide now (sorry). Fatter but not wider was our intended feedback. Also please lower the GoonerNews.com down a bit, and maybe pull the 'curved' right hand edge over to the left a little to leave a bit more room for potential ad space. Heartily encourage any new creative ideas to tweak it and make it shine.

Similar gradient to the one in your example. Text with gold outline. Outline of Emirates Stadium faded behind text (have link to person who took the photo - Creative Commons licence).
If you'd like any fonts/gradients, etc. changed just say.
