Sort of a visual pun on keeping something alive... using a frankenstein like figure playing guitar, as the symbol or mark. Gestalt style figure. (your eye fills in the missing information) very recognizable and ownable as an original logo
is a complete typographic lock-up, with that monster theme which would be great to build off of later

Accidentally added the "the" into the title.., this is slightly updated

Really good, clever design, I like the frankenstein idea, I can see this working well on flyers and so on.
I was thinking, to continue the frankenstein idea, perhaps the letters "live" of "Alive" could have blood dripping down it?

Trying to go a different route, with more of a tattoo style logo
tattoos of course playing a pretty big role in the rock music scene.
going for a more beaten down look, as if the live local music scene as somewhat survived it all for a very long time.
