Submitted design #27
Hi, thank you for invitation.
My entry. Hope you like it. :D ;)
Very nice. The layout is a little boring, but you did make what I had planned pretty much. Let's do this:
1) put a media player with channels into the top left where the 1234 points are.
2) make the right box of that top area with the 2 forms hang lower than the left area like a few deesigners have done.
3) just put some general info in the lower right column, rather than a media player. Just do whatever you want.
Let's focus on that. Feel free to show me something different stylistically, but let's get this layout first.
This is a great in concept. Absolutely the best so far--but stylistically it needs LOTS of work. Why don't we talk a little bit about it: email/im me: jamesgillmore@gmail.com
Hey there...so I love the arrow concept you have...Otherwise, the page is very busy when it shouldn't be. Check out how #129 was able to keep it not too busy feeling--also read the feedback I just left there. The main thing will be simplifying your design and coming up with a theme for the "bars" throughout the page. Bars = the nav-bar, the bars that function as title holders for the sections below (or even the titles of blogs like I did in my prototype). We need something a lot cleaner and simple. For instance, we should figure out a way to not double wrap the box on the right side under the nav bar (the one with the 2 forms). It has a border on the outside and above it. I'm really looking to optimize the use of holding devices so we have as few as possible.
