- Brief Summary

We need a new logo for a potential online media startup, based in China but please DON'T use that in your designs (ie. None of these cheesy horrible "oriental" designs or fonts!), looking for something clean and modern, to suit the business. == UPDATE: Quality is so great, we'll be offering bonus prizes for the top few entries. Thanks for the great work guys, keep it up! ==

Hi guys,
For what it is worth, most sincere apologies and I am back. I received an e-mail from Cake_Sama today and am aiming to fix the situation.
In interests of being as open as possible, not that it is any excuse but long story short I was having problems with Chinese corporate registration, and told that it would take several weeks. So I took a holiday and left it with "competent" Chinese staff, my mistake.
I took extended leave and left this and many other issues in the hands of my (supposedly competent) staff here. Whether they simply are unable to comprehend the issue of copyright or chose to ignore it is not yet understood; I would like to have it known here and publicly that I consider this situation in no way acceptable, nor would it be at any time in future, and I am utterly livid that they could not only drop the ball in terms of payment and recognition for such a public site, but that they would then offer such a flimsy excuse for a site, based on content we do not own, and make it public...
I will be taking every option available to me to make sure that they do not, cannot and will not do so in future.
Meanwhile, the contest winner (Since toward the end Cake_Sama had been my choice, it would appear these useless twits "Agree") has been contacted and will be dealt with directly and offered significant compensation.
Users who were in the top 10, I have decided to offer a (massive) upgrade in what we offer as a "bonus" prize to make up for the current situation... What was initially offered as a 1-yr subscription to a basic web hosting service will be changed to an initial-level Beta invite to every web app/service we launch in the next 2 years, along with 2 years of "medium" level membership, which I will personally guarantee and audit through our system for at least 2 years, and indefinitely if you prove to be a valued customer.
I think you know who you are and should be able to contact me in an orderly manner, if not I will be speaking with Cake_Same shortly and reaching a decision with his assistance.

It looks like Jay Lynch already has stolen an idea from a design and created his own creation.Preview Website : http://img143.imageshack.us/img143/…diajn4.jpg

It's clear that this contest is no longer valid.
In this regard, 99designs should do something to ensure competitions.
Good luck for the following competitions. -
