#101 and #102 are too similar to #78 to be seriously considered. Please note that when I mentioned pin designs I found attractive, I didn't mean to imply that I wanted to see similar designs submitted.

Please use your creativity to find new ways to meet the criteria listed above.

I have been making numerous comments directly to individual designers, so please don't think I'm not paying attention to everyone's efforts here. To summarize what I've been saying to several designers privately, here is my current thinking on what a design needs to have. #75, #78, #59 and #89 by january_444 are good examples of what I'm looking for. darkday's #65 is another, despite lacking a nod to the theme of a vault or safe.

The key elements I like in addition to the vault/safe theme are:

    1) a 3-D look (faint shadow is fine as long as it looks realistic),

    2) slight reflectivity on the surface,

    3) enough space on the pin body for a 2 or 3 character label, and

    4) a format that will let me easily resize and recolor without loss of image quality in the future to fine-tune those to best fit the final webpage on which it will be used.

Thanks to all of you for your remarkable effort and creativity.

I will give strong preference to a vector-based design, allowing me to resize the pins as needed to come up with the perfect size later.

You all continue to impress me with your imaginations. This website is a great start to the emerging post-economic-apocalypse new-age commerce!

Definitely, I want the text ON the pin. Some designs I do like despite not having room for the text, but for those designs that I want to pursue further, I've asked the designers to make changes to adjust for that.

Jerry, do want to use text in the pin or not? because some of the ones you rated high doesnt have much space left for text.

Oops.. there is no #28 (yet). I put on my reading glasses to discover it is #26 that is one of my three favorites to date, along with #14 #11 #9 #4. Sorry for the confusion.

Please bear with me as I learn this incredibly cool medium on the fly here. I just figured out the Star Ratings, so all entries have now been updated. I am very impressed by the range of ideas -- I hope crowdsourcing is a good thing for the creative artist industry, because it's fantastic for us users.

Back to the issue at hand -- #28, 14 and 11 are the coolest of the cool ideas so far. I really like #9 and 4 also because of their excellent transparency.

Keep in mind my growing realization that the theme of a digital safe (vault) would be ideally incorporated in this button and also into the logo (still to be designed).

    Thanks again for everyone's efforts.

Sorry, Marele, but I couldn't see the applicability of Mike Tyson's face on the button, nor the male/female symbols. Creative for sure, but not for this application.

For whatever it's worth -- I'm now thinking that whichever design gets the "pin win", I'll then be looking for a business logo that incorporates that pin design into it. The business is generally focused on digital storage of personal information, thus the business name of CyberSafe. Any ideas?

This is my first contest, folks, and I am very impressed with both the speed of response and the quality. #1 is my current favorite by a nose. Could you get a bit more of a shiny surface and a touch more three dimensionality? #3 is also interesting, but I'd have the same requests for that to spiff it up a bit. Nice work, both of you!
