Appreciate the fact that you let us know ahead of time ! :)
Just a quick note to let all the entrants know that there may be a slight delay in choosing a winner, just because the final decision is my client's. I'm hoping they'll review the entries today, but it could possibly be after the weekend. Just want to reassure you that I'm not abandoning this contest! :)
I would like to put on the record, that if my design is similar to someone else its purely coincidence . I try my hardest not to look at the other designs because I know it can alter the designers own creative idea. I started my design since the beginning of the contest, I hope this avoids confusion. Thanks and good luck.
monarchd, if you look at the link provided by bookchig, http://www.turksandcaicostourism.com/ , you will notice that the flash element somewhat hints towards the wave effect. When i looked at this contest I knew that the majority would try and implement it in their designs in their own way.

^^^Not anywhere in the design brief did the CH specify a bottom border wave/swoop...that I can find anyway. Perhaps it's on the individual comments but I haven't looked there.

Wow, I just love that alot of you are using my idea of the cutout wave/scoop bottom....that's just fabulous...not so much..
As a side note, you know what I've noticed on this site. Some of you wait until other designers enter, take their ideas and the CH feedback and at the last minute post up "your entry", which is nothing but an expansion of another designers work. It's disheartening and deplorable.
Well, that's my rant for the day, back to the regularly scheduled program.
