Brief Overview

I am a solo developer working on iPhone apps in the audio/games categories. I currently have one in the pipeline and several on the drawing board.

iPhone users, game players, those who want to pass the time with a little fun.

Requirements

The target app is a toy/game app that allows the user to record their voice and play it in reverse. I have a few ideas that will be explained below, but feel free to submit any other ideas that you may have. I need a few specific things: 1. a play button, reverse play button, a stop button, and a record button. All buttons should have a default look and an active look similar to an unlit LED and a lit LED respectively. Buttons should look suitable for iPhone, having the common 3D glossy look. I would prefer that the 4 buttons above be arranged in a cohesive manner as to look like an integrated transport control for a voice recorder. 2. A logo/icon graphic. My idea for this is a cartoon speech balloon with an arrow pointing to the left, similar to the Apple iChat app logo. Same glossy finish. Color negotiable. If you have other ideas based on the app description above, please submit. Ideas using a microphone graphic are welcome. 3. a background graphic for the app. something to integrate a title at the top, the controls in the middle and a toolbar at the bottom. keeping a common color scheme. All graphics should be in layered psd format and fully editable. minimum 160 dpi. preferably 300dpi. The target screen is 480x320. iPhone portrait orientation. Attached sketch is an approximate idea. Feel free to expand on or modify the layout.
