200kb isnt heavy. Only for dialup users. And even todays dialup is pretty fast, Itll be like loading a myspace picture (which Millions of people do everyday, which is typically 100kb-200kb

Myspace profiles themselves, are around 500kb.

Also, Im just on regular dsl, which isnt that fast, and it loaded in a few seconds, thats nothing

Not only that, there is always the other default size the employer recommended, 468 x 60

Not only that, but I could simple take away the spin effect, keep the fades, and that will reduce the frames by about 70%. The entry made is almost never the actual thing the employer will use. It is just a representation of the designers concept. Employers contact the designer and work with them until they are satisfied, which is what i will do. Stop being sore lowers already.

as usual banner size is - ~40Kb
if it`s 900 or even 200 Kb it useless because nobody will place such heavy banner on website.

Thanks guys. @ the person who made the 900kb comment, the animated gif can easily be optimized to at least half that size, its not a problem, thats just the raw version. :P

I'll remember this contest, for a few reasons. This was my first time using Site Point, and I learned to use flash for this competition. I'll also remember how my entry wasn't appreciated, my questions left unanswered and entry wasn't commented on.
